Introduction
A manuscript has started circulating on the web titled The Final Freedoms. The ideas contained within it are profound and new not just to the public domain but to history itself, and however implausible this may sound to the modern mind, this small work may hold the potential for changing the very course of human history. The reason for such an audacious statement becomes self-evident to those who take the time to fully explore its insights.
The following three essays go some way to explaining just why this material is an imperative study for anyone looking for the means to radically alter the existing political and cultural status quo, indeed for anyone able to imagine beyond the limits of what history has presumed possible. For that line in the mind has been moved, and to move with it, is to change the future of human civilization and planet.
review: The Final Freedoms©free
On the horizon is an approaching religious, cultural and scientific furore so contentious, any clash of civilizations may have to wait. On one side, a manuscript titled: The Final Freedoms, against all the gravitas religious tradition can bring to bear.
The first wholly new interpretation for 2000 years of the moral teachings of Christ is on the web. Redefining all primary elements including Faith, the Word and the Resurrection, this new interpretation questions the validity and origins of all Christian tradition; focusing specifically on marriage, love and human sexuality, it overturns all natural law ethics and theory. At stake is the credibility of several thousand years of religious history and moral teaching, and will certainly impact other fields of intellectual inquiry.
What first appears a counter intuitive and utterly preposterous challenge to the religious status quo rewards closer examination, for it carries within its pages ideas both subtle and sublime, what the theological history of religion either ignored, were unable to imagine or dismissed as impossible. An error of presumption which could now leave 'tradition' staring into the abyss and humble the heights of secular, scientific speculation. This new teaching has nothing whatsoever to do with any existing religious conception known to history. It is unique in every respect. What science and religion have agreed was not possible, has now become an all too probable.
Using a synthesis of scriptural material from the Old and New Testaments, the Apocrypha , The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Nag Hammadi Library, and some of the worlds great poetry, it describes and teaches a single moral LAW, a single moral principle offering the promise of its own proof; one in which the reality of God responds to an act of perfect faith with a direct, individual intervention into the natural world; correcting human nature by a change in natural law, altering biology, consciousness and human ethical perception beyond all natural evolutionary boundaries. Intended to be understood metaphorically, where 'death' is ignorance and 'Life' is knowledge, this experience, personal encounter and liberation by transcendent power and moral purpose is the 'Resurrection', the justification of faith and foundation of righteousness.
Often stated, extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence and rightly so. Here then is the first ever viable religious conception capable of leading reason, by faith, to observable consequences which can be tested and judged. This new teaching delivers the first ever religious claim of insight into the human condition, that meets the Enlightenment criteria of verifiable, evidence based truth embodied in action. For the first time in history, a moral tenet exists, offering access by faith, to absolute proof for its belief.
This is 'religion' without any of the coventional trappings of tradition. An individual, applied virtue-ethical conception all in a single command, this new interpretation defines the moral foundation of all human conduct and the single Law finds expression within a new covenant of marriage. It requires no institutional framework or hierarchy, no churches or priest craft, no scholastic theological rational, dogma or doctrine and ‘worship’ requires only conviction, faith and the necessary measure of self discipline to accomplish a new, single moral imperative and the integrity and fidelity to the new reality.
If confirmed and there appears both the means and a growing, concerted effort to test and authenticate this material, this will represent a paradigm change in the moral and intellectual potential of human nature itself; resolving the greatest questions of human existence: consciousness, meaning, suffering and evil having been finally untangled. Colloquial evidence from discussion forums suggest confirmations have already taken place and are increasing.
Trials of this new teaching are under way and op[en to all. For those individuals who can set their sights and measure progress above the existing political status quo, who are able to think for themselves and imagine outside the historical cultural box, who are willing to learn something new and stand against the stream of fashionable thought and spin, an intellectual and moral revolution has already started with the most potent Non Violent Direct Action any human being can take for peace, justice, change and progress and which entrenched elites and the modern
corporate/national security, surveillance state can neither stop no interfere with.

David vs Goliath hardly seems an adequate metaphor. Expecting a single 365 page manuscript called The Final Freedoms to overthrow two thousands years of global institution sounds laughable. But if a new Christian teaching spreading on the web is authenticated in sufficient numbers to make what is a new truth claim irrefutable fact, and given the growing number of sites and links for downloading this teaching and growing anecdotal evidence of confirmations, one may surely assume this process is under way, the implications defy imagination!
The stakes are frighteningly high for monotheism. All three traditions have recently come under mounting critical attack in the West by the fashionable publishing successes of evolutionary biologists and atheists such as Dr. Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and friends, but their impact on religion is superficial at best. These intellectual suicide bombers go bang, but their target is unperturbed and they achieve little; yet the unquestioned veracity of their criticism is a timely reminder of the contradictions and unresolved questions and doubts inhabiting the ‘religious’ milieu.
The true origins of Christianity are heavily obscured. History remains unconvinced exactly what 'revelation' was passed on by Jesus two thousand years ago. Thus do three competing monotheisms exist and growing secularization. Popular fiction like the DaVinci Code thrives in the confusion of an early church divided in disagreement, until a forth century secular emperor called Constantine laid the institutional foundations for a church by forcing a ‘theological’ settlement on rival factions in return for a bankroll. The rest of Christian history has been built upon the decision to enforce scriptural uniformity by agreeing ‘canonical’ texts, known as the Bible or New Testament, and the theological development of that collection into the doctrines, dogma and numerous traditions known today. Therefore the claims and very existence of the ‘church’ rests upon the efficacy of theology as a valid human intellectual endeavour?
And theology is what The Final Freedoms blows right out of the water. First, by using scriptural material drawn not only from canonical sources, but equally relying on the Dead Sea Scrolls, The Nag Hammadi Library of Gnostic Gospels and other non canonical texts, this interpretation demonstrates that any religious claim based solely upon the Bible never contained the revealed teaching of Christ in the first place. And this is not just abstract argument.
The flaws and cracks in religious thought began showing as the Enlightenment spread rapidly across Europe, scientists giving primacy to experience. Early religious challenges to science soon faded as its secular powers declined and religion withdrew into obscurantism, where the growing authority of science, with it empirical conception of knowledge, could not interfere with or question an unfettered religious imagination.
Even today religion remains hostage to the same primitive thinking that marked its origins. At the same time, the primacy of the scientific method continued from strength to strength and into modernity on the back of its successes in understanding the natural world. Even as that stream of understanding has slowed considerably and it often shirks the moral implications of its research.
From this dichotomy virtually all criticism of monotheism is founded. In brief, as no proof of God has been offered by tradition, religion has no means to either demonstrate or validate its claims to represent what may be a potential reality. Religion [and science] have always presumed a demonstrable proof of God to be impossible.
And with that thought, the danger of presumption and an appreciation of the full magnitude of religious, no less intellectual and moral paradigm change taking place becomes apparent. For the impossible has become possible. And the difference between a ‘theological’ counterfeit and a true revelation becomes all too apparent. And this is the card that may very well trump history.
Head on, The Final Freedoms addresses the biggest questions: origins, the nature of revealed knowledge, legitimacy and the very existence of God.
For The Final Freedoms is a new moral teaching predicated upon a PROMISE of the living God [the Word] for a direct individual intervention into the natural world to create a new moral reality. Incontrovertible, testable proof to justify an act of faith.
As such, the question of religious legitimacy is no longer the perrogative of any default tradition, ancient or otherwise, but the strict Enlightenment principle of knowledge the modern world has become more accustomed to finding, ironically and tragically outside religious tradition.
As of this writing, no religious leader has yet spoken publicly on this challenge to their credibility, they may soon have little choice. The world is literally dying for want of new direction and this teaching may hold both the potential and means for change and progress neither religious, atheist, scientist or humanist has dared imagine.
And therein lies its power and attraction. As every day passes, on every television screen, newspaper, radio and Net, growing evidence of the limitations of mankind become more obvious by the failure to successfully resolve the most pressing problems facing the modern world and threatening the earth itself.
While this new teaching is asking humanity, choose the future you prefer? The existing status quo and growing chaos of more war, terrorism, conflict, environmental degradation, spin and whitewash, economic turmoil and division, sectarianism and natural disasters. Or accepting human nature and natural reason have limits, and by taking new personal and moral responsibility, in a single change of mind and conduct, by faith, transcend those limits and blow the status quo strait to hell.
In the midst of such momentous choice, for ‘tradition’ that by comparison offers little but its own pretensions, it becomes all too possible to imagine the entire edifice of priesthood and institutional framework crumbling under the weight of its own hubris. As it is written, All is vanity, all is chasing after wind.........!

And possibilities that defy imagination...
In the BBC sci-fi classic Dr. Who, his time traveling space ship Tardis, in the unlikely shape of an English police call box, against known physical laws, opens inside to a capacious space. Or consider the essence of chaos theory: that a small change can lead to huge and unpredictable consequences out of all proportion to the size of the originating event.
Both help imagine the depth and breadth of The Final Freedoms, except this is neither science nor fiction, and even to call it religion defies every convention. The modest size of the manuscript belies its potential to impact all areas of human and cultural existence. As a catalyst for change it reaches the places political process can’t touch. And there probably isn’t an ‘ology’ that won’t be impacted by the greater insights that accompany those who choose to share this new spiritual conception.
While this ‘Divine Comedy’ is yet unfolding, however difficult it may be to imagine the broad implications of this change to the existing intellectual and moral paradigm, this article considers some repercussions and even greater possibilities.
Inevitably, when this revelation breaks free of the web into mainstream public discourse and debate, the three monotheisms are in deep trouble, but no less profound will be the impact on many secular streams of intellectual and scientific inquiry. For example, what future can there be for that theological bedfellow philosophy? They will find little comfort or room to maneuver from the advent of this pre-eminent wisdom that surpasses and supersedes every hindsight, logic or morality philosophy ever pretended to.
Or consider modern neuroscience and their own ‘holy grail’ of understanding human consciousness. Investigating this mystery and phenomena with all the technology at their disposal, one might have expected a result sooner rather then later, but instead, they are about to suffer considerable disappointment. The soul has always been an unspoken, ‘dirty’ word for those involved in this particular quest, understandably holding the same prejudices of other physical sciences against the potential for any spiritual explanation. But the FF when tested, is not only a proof of God, but a demonstration of the soul as an active reality and the very source for both conscience and consciousness; the necessary prerequisites for ethical cognition and making moral choices.
Psychology and its related ‘therapies’ will also have to endure the withdrawal symptoms of having it own raison d’etre pulled out from under its feet. This attempt to understand both the mental, emotional and behavioral processes of the mind has always been suspect and probably only survived as long as it has because of the very real need to increase understanding of the human condition. With the FF that understanding is completed. And psychology, without ever knowing the soul, its function or interface with reason is not only made redundant, but exposed as little more than pseudo science with pretensions on par with theology.
Nor does mainstream medical science escape the reach of this revelation. As the high price of high tech treatments and the exploitation by pharmaceutical companies puts basic health care out side the reach of so many, the FF is indeed a God send. Part of the ‘inheritance’ for those who come to share in this new revelation is an enhanced immune system capable of resolving not only current conditions but putting the individual outside the reach of every cancer, debilitating and degenerative illness. There is simply no better preventive ‘medicine’ nor health insurance for those who choose the protection of living under the wisdom of this covenant.
That most ethereal of secular scientific speculation, Cosmology, can call it a day. And while this revelation concedes legitimate ground to evolution, that’s simply not the whole story. Militant, atheist followers of Darwin would have done better to confine their attacks on religion to the institutional forms and claims, rather that pretending, like the religious, to ultimate knowledge or that there is no God.
Those seeking greater social and economic justice should take note. Economic ‘progress’, particularly under capitalism has always developed heavily in favour of those who have, against and exploiting those have-nots. Those tables are now turned.
Market forces are soon to collide head on with a greater moral reality coming from the opposite direction. And when the dust finally settles, a new economics will rise; the great divides existing between rich and poor will begin leveling along more equitable lines of common good. And anyone on some magazine or newspaper rich list may wish they were otherwise.
Anyone who has studied the FF and particularly those who have already confirmed its teaching, know this new covenant is founded upon a change in human sexual conduct and forms the basis of new individual ethical and moral development. This marks the beginning of the end to all sexual exploitation and disfunction. The most intractable contemporary concerns of abortion, contraception, paedophilia, pornography, rape and all other sexual crimes are resolved by the remedy to that first crime against ones Creator, the correction to human nature and change in male sexual response. For women as for men, this alters the entire ‘chemistry’ and dynamics of human relationship. Under this covenant, marriage is immeasurably strengthened and domestic violence not even plausible. For a woman within this new marriage, there is no greater liberation.
Environmentalists ever hoping to save what’s left of a once unspoilt and beautiful planet should sink their roots deep into this teaching. Whatever their efforts and aspirations, an ecologically sound and sustainable future was never going to be possible under the existing paradigm of a human nature whose moral perceptions are dominated by materialism, a political process unprepared nor designed to define the changes necessary and the limitations of scientific knowledge itself.
Again, this covenant turns that reality around 180 degrees; first by its authority, second by creating within the mind a new dominant spiritual-ethical value in command of the material and third by providing the additional insights necessary to fully comprehend the natural order, making all future culture development both sustainable and deep green.
For antiwar activists this is the key to ending war itself, conflict and terrorism. With this revelation you can insure the absolute accountability of those who threaten violence and make war, whoever and where-ever without distinction. What greater protest or demonstration is possible than one that speaks directly to the consciousness of every human being with a message to make peace or face consequences one dare not even imagine. Thus there is no non violent direct action nor accountability more potent than confirming this new covenant. The ‘Peace Train’ is at the station and taking on passengers, ‘there will be no more training for war’.
And what is left for politics? Even among the ‘advanced’ western democracies, it is often said by those reflecting upon the limitations of this system, that democracy is only the best of a bad lot that history has evolved. And however its founders tried, with ingenious checks and balances, to limit the corrupting potential of power and wealth, at both an individual, corporate and institutional level, history is witness to its limited success.
Now, upon the new moral foundations of the FF the Way opens for mankind reach out and secure the highest cultural aspirations of a truly just society. And Justice, Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness take on a new, wholly different meaning. Tikkun olam begins here.
Having now fully tested and confirmed this new teaching within my own relationship, I can state without qualification that the claims which this new teaching make are demonstrably true. The greatest of all questions of a previously unconfirmed and debatable potential is now resolved. At the risk of sounding too prophetic, the prospects for an approaching future are well expressed in the lines of a song by Bob Dylan:
The line it is drawn, the curse it is cast
The slow one new will later be fast
As the present now will later be past
the order is rapidly fadin.
And the first ones now will later be last
For the times they are a-changin.
Downloading copies of the manuscript
To download a copy of the manuscript: The Final Freedoms, there are a number of dedicated sites as well as many other unofficial ones around the web. The list below offers two. The download is free, it is in pdf format, and typeset in both US letter and A4 paper sizes. You must have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
One quickly discovers that this is no airport scan read from screen. The design of the manuscript and nature of the material precludes it. It should be printed out for a careful read, even study. And as suggested at the web sites, it is well worth printing out the chapter titles page from the browser page link. This provides some structure to the reading and is a useful reference.
